What is it?
The full name for this moisturizing shampoo & conditioner is Finesse Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. All of that is too much to refer to for when I’m talking about these products, so I’ll just call them Finesse Moisturizing Shampoo / Finesse Moisturizing Conditioner.
This shampoo and conditioner set was made for restoring and strengthening dry and/or damaged hair. It is now made with active proteins to give you soft, silky, manageable hair.
Who is it for?
Finesse Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner is for people with any of the following:
• dry hair
• course hair
• damaged hair
• frizzy hair
• stubborn hair
• weak hair
So basically you would use these products if you fall under any of those hair categories, or if you just want healthier, stronger, more alive hair. It’s most popular among women with wavy and curly hair.
What does it smell like?
It is somewhat tricky to describe the scent of this. It’s easy to say something is ‘fruity’ or ‘soapy’ or ‘without fragrance’, but these products are none of those things. The smell is a really light fresh scent –not overpowering or too little.
One day, my boyfriend was sitting next to me after I washed my hair with these products and he said What is that smell? It’s so nice. He sniffed my hair again and I told him it was my new Finesse Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner. He said that it smells really fresh and nice –which is weird because he usually prefers fruit smelling products that I use. I noticed he complimented the way I smell after each time I used these products. It’s cute when he notices the small things!
I tested them out for a few washes.
For some people, a few washes is three days. I only shower once every three days so it’s a little different for me. When you shower less often, you need products that are somewhat magical to get the job done. I noticed my hair feeling nice and soft after my showers, and it was easier to comb through with my wet comb. Something I like to do is let my hair air dry and then leave it natural. It’s a lot better for hair to not be styled often, and when I use these, my hair looks pretty good left natural (shower hair as I call it).
I like the size!
I’m loving how the Finesse Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner are 13 oz each. The products I usually use/try out are like half the size of these bottles. I’m not saying they’re huge but there’s a lot more product in these than what I’m used to. It’s especially perfect for those ladies who like to use large amounts of shampoo and conditioner.
Kendall & Kim approved.
Apparently in the October 2016 Allure Magazine, Kendall Jenner shared that she found out about Finesse from Kim Kardashian. I guess they both love this brand! Your hair might turn out more celebrity-like after using these products.
It’s easy to distinguish the bottles.
The shampoo has the cap on the top and the conditioner has the cap on the bottom. It’s nice when companies create their shampoo & conditioner bottles differently, as we can’t always see what we’re doing in the shower that clearly. With water in my eyes and a steamy bathroom, I can tell which bottle I’m grabbing from the cap placement.
Here’s what the bottles say.
I took some more photos of the bottles so you can read them for yourself.
Overall I like this product duo because it:
• Makes my hair soft and moisturized
• Lathers nicely
• Has a nice fresh scent
• Makes my hair more manageable
• Detangles my hair
• Has distinguishable bottles
• Is inexpensive
Where do I get this?
The Finesse Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner can be bought at many stores such as Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Kroger, Shoprite, HEB, Publix, and Amazon.
